Basic Functions:
The iScancarsupports OEM Level Controller Diagnostics with DTC Reading and Clearing. With the iScancar you can change Basic User Vehicle Settings and perform Channel Adaptions along with Module Login.

Guided Functions:
The iScancarhas many adaptations and configuration routines built in. These routines are preset and the tool will guide you through these functions with on screen prompts. These Guided Functions will help to simplify these routines.

Special Functions:
The iScancarwill read Pin Codes by OBD for a large percentage of VAG Vehicles. Along with Pin Code Reading the iScancarwill also perform adaptions after replacing Modules or Controllers. You can also complete Gateway Registration with the iScancar.

Module Coding (Data) Record Management:
Whenreplacing new Modules or Controllers, in a VAG Vehicle, in most cases you must transfer the Coding (Data) to online storage for later rewriting. Without storing this Coding and writing it back to the the Controller it will not work correctly. Now you can use the iScancar to record this Coding offline for later rewriting. With the iScancar you can also active some additional functions on VAG Vehicles like MKE, Remote Start, and others..

Below Are Some Examples Of This Module Coding Record Management:

1. On an Audi A5 PQ35 when replacing a Gateway Module with a Part Number of 7N0907530AN you can active MKE after writing the data record through the iScancar,you can then set MKE on the vehicle’s Driver Information Center after the coding is complete.
2. When replacing an MQB Gateway with a Part Number of 5Q0907530AJ you can active MKE after writing the data record through the iScancar,you can then set MKE on the vehicle’s Driver Information Center after the coding is complete.
3. On an Audi A5 PQ35 when replacing a Kessy Module with a Part Number of 5K0959434B there will be a DTC reporting no basic setting and the car will not recognize the key(s) to authorize starting. After writing the offline recorded data to the module the DTC will disappear and the vehicle will recognize the key(s) and start normally.
4. On an MQB VAG Vehicle after replacing a Kessy Module with a Part Number of 5Q0959435A you will have a DTC of 10478040(invalid data record and the vehicle will not detect the working key or keys). After writing the offline recorded data the DTC will disappear and the vehicle will detect the key(s) properly.
5. On an MQB VAG Vehicle when replacing a Front Camera with a Part Number of 5Q0980653G there will be a DTC of 0649 (invalid data record). After writing the offline recorded data the DTC will disappear.
6. On an MQB VAG Vehicle when replacing an ACC Radar Module with a Part Number of 5Q0907561A you will have a DTC of 0759 (invalid data record). After writing the offline recorded data the DTC will disappear.
7. On a VAG PQ Platform Vehicle when replacing a Tire Pressure Monitor with a Part Number of 3AA907273D there will be a DTC of 12652550 (invalid data record) and the Module will not function. After writing the offline recorded data the DTC will disappear can you can then configure this system on the vehicle’s Driver Information Center.
8. On an MQB VAG Vehicle when replacing a DCC Adaptive Suspension Module with a Part Number of 5Q0907376 you will have a DTC of 813056 (invalid data record). After writing the offline recorded data the DTC will disappear.
9. On an MQB VAG Vehicle when replacing a Parking Assistance Module with a Part Number of 5Q0919298K there will be a DTC of 10478040 (invalid data record). After writing the offline recorded data the DTC will disappear.
